Transplanted to Central PA from Northern NJ. Grew up on lower East Side of NYC, family full of chefs, restaurateurs, and cops.

My Sicilian grandmother owned a Chinese restaurant in NYC in the 40's, our godfathers were from Malaysia & the Philippines; grandfather's family was from Spain & Venezuela. Ate, then learned to cook our way through, the worlds cuisines from babies through today.

Husband & I owned a pizzeria. For a time there was authentic NYC pizza in this area of chain restaurants.

Am definitely a food snob, rarely open a can of anything, love discovering!
