Thank You Nancy , one thing I was all ways kind of sad about was that my Granny's recipes woul die when I did .. That is why I joined JAP , so I could pass them on. Thank You for helping me do that

If you are wondering about the 1950 picture on the cover of this cookbook.
She was my mother-in-law Nellie Curl, She lived in Indiana on a farm.
I always called her grandma.
I learned so much from her. Bless her Christian heart.
Cooking, baking, canning, how to grow a garden of vegetables..
How to cook rabbit and squirrels.
How to make soap, milk a cow, and how to make real mincemeat from a hogs head
render fat for lard, also cook mountain oysters.
I never could ring a chickens head...but I learned how to pick the feathers....
to fry it .make gravy, and biscuits!
She made chicken soup from the les,....YUK!!
How to crochet, and quilting for blankets.
I loved this woman...She still lives in my heart forever.
I could go on and on.......memories, old memories!!!
Hugs, ..nancy......10/16/15
