Ingredients

  • - 3 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • - 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • - 2 large celery stalks, finely chopped
  • - 1 small sweet onion, finely chopped
  • - 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • - 4 cups water
  • - 1/8 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • - 3 tbsp butter
  • - 3 tbsp flour
  • - 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • - 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • - 1 3/4 cup milk
  • - 1/2 cup cream

How To Make potato soup

  • Step 1
    To a large pot of boiling water add the potatoes, carrots, parsley and celery; cook until tender. (15 - 20 min)
  • Step 2
    Drain, and set the vegetables aside until needed.
  • Step 3
    Saute the onion and garlic in butter until soft; then add the flour, salt and pepper and slowly add the milk and cream stirring constantly until smooth and thick, then add the cooked vegetables.
  • Step 4
    Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy.
