After a tummy bug this is what I make for my family. Very light and calming for a what was an upset tummy. Do not add meat or vegetables, keep as simple as possible. Use vegetable bullion for vegetarians, use rice vermicelli for gluten free.

Ingredients
- - 10 cups water
- - 1 tablespoon chicken bullion powder (or vegetable for vegetarians)
- - 1 cup dried short vermicelli noodles, use rice vermicelli for gluten free

Step 1Bring the water and bullion to the boil. Add the noodles and boil until cooked - about 5 minutes.

Step 2Turn off the heat and let sit for 5 minutes so the noodles swell, this makes it easier for the tummy to digest. Serve in small bowls.
