Ingredients

  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 c
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil or safflower oil
  • 2 1/2 c
    finely chopped parsley
  • 1 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 3 1/2 c
    finely chopped tomato
  • 1 bunch
    green onions or 1 tablespoon mint
  • 1
    finely chopped cucumber ( optional )
  • 16 oz
    wholr grain bulgur wheat

How to Make LEBANESE OLD FASHIONED TABOULI RECIPE BY EDDIE

Step-by-Step

  1. Pour 16 oz. Bulgar wheat into a large tea strainer, rinse and drain wheat, put wheat in a very large bowl.
  2. Add oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper stir well.
  3. Add chopped veggies, mix well, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours, Stirring a couple times.
  4. Add 1 bunch green onions or mint, Chopped cucumber if wanted. mix well.
  5. Return to refrigerator for 1 more hour. stir and serve
