Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 small garlic clove, finely minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup walnut halves, toasted and chopped

How To Make lemon herb vegetables with toasted walnuts

Step 1In a wide pan, bring one inch of water to a boil. Add green beans and cook until bright green and crisp tender, about 6 minutes. Drain.

Step 2Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix fresh herbs with garlic, butter and salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3Transfer hot green beans to a serving bowl and stir in herbed butter. Add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
