How to Make Freezer Dills
1In a large bowl, combine cucumbers and onion. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the salt over the vegetables; let stand for 2 hours. Rinse under cold water, drain well.
2In a large glass bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, garlic, dill seed, and red pepper. Stir well to dissolve sugar. Add cucumbers and onion. Combine.
3Pack into freezer containers and store in freezer. Defrost in refrigerator at least 8 hours before serving.
