I LOVE sweet potatoes! And I love them baked. I always especially loved them when I would go out to dinner and get one that was seasoned... Here's mine I do at home!

How to Make Baked Sweet Potato

Step-by-Step

  1. Take your raw sweet potato and wash the skin well.
    Cut in half
  2. on each side of the sweet potato, spread butter
    sprinkle with fresh ground cinnamon (you can add as much or as little as you prefer.. i like more)
    place the two slices back together and wrap up in aluminum foil
  3. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for approximately 30 min or until tender when testing with fork.
  4. unwrap and serve either alone or with entree..
