A lot of people do not like the "slimy" okra. If you rinse this well then cook as directed it come out moist, caramelized and not slimy. It will slime up as it cooks but it will cook out. I think the only thing to make this better would be the addition of some diced up bacon.

- 1 pound okra, fresh sliced in rounds
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 - serrano chili peppers seeded and diced
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 cup dry vermouth
- - salt and pepper
How To Make sautéed okra

Step 1Clean, slice and rinse okra well

Step 2Add oil to skillet, add garlic and cook to flavor oil

Step 3Add okra and Serrano pepper, sauté until it starts to carmelize

Step 4Salt and pepper to taste

Step 5Add vermouth cook until liquid has absorbed
