1/2 cchopped onion
2 Tbspolive oil
1 craw white rice ( not instant rice )
1 cchopped green or red bell pepper
2 - 4 tspchili powder
1 cdiced canned tomatoes with liquid
1/2 tspchicked or vegetable broth
How to Make SPANISH RICE
- In a medium saucepan with a tight fitting lid, saute the onion in the olive oil over medium heat until softened about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to a low simmer, covered for 20 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is cooked.
