    12 oz. bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    allspice
  • 3 Tbsp
    orange juice or brandy

How to Make Crimson Baked Cranberries

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine cranberries, sugar, cinnamon and allspice in a small baking dish.

    Cover and bake until sugar melts and mixture bubbles, stirring once, about 55 minutes or so.
  3. Uncover and bake until liquid is syrupy, about 10 minutes longer,

    Immediately stir in the orange juice OR brandy.
  4. Let sauce cool to room temperature.
  5. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

    Serve chilled.
