2 Tbsplight corn syrup

- In saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in half and half, water and corn syrup until smooth. Bring to a low boil.
- Cook and stir for 2 minutes, or to desired consistency. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla and stir until butter is melted.
- Serve warm or cold. Refrigerate left-overs or gifts. Serve with fresh fruit, over apple pie, ice cream, cobblers, cakes... just about anything. A quick, economical gift that everyone appreciates and can use.
