Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 large mangoes (about 2 1/2 cups), stone removed, peeled and cut into pieces
How To Make mango pineapple sauce

Step 1In a saucepan over medium heat, add pineapple juice and granulated sugar; stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 2When the mixture is about to simmer, add minced ginger, stir well and bring the liquid to a gentle boil.

Step 3Stir in the mango pieces and let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes or until soft with little chunks in it, breaking into smaller pieces.

Step 4Remove from the heat, transfer the sauce to a bowl to cool before covering and transferring it to the fridge to chill, about 3 hours.
