This is a yummy dressing that goes great on a crisp lettuce salad. Add some chopped carrots, and other goodies, plus some chicken, and you have a healthy and tasty meal.

This dressing will also work drizzled over chicken or fish. So yummy.

Ingredients

  • PLAN/PURCHASE

  • 3 Tbsp
    sweet clover honey
  • 4 Tbsp
    mayonnaise, or vegenaise
  • 1/2 tsp
    dark-roasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sesame oil, sometimes called: sesame chili oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice, freshly squeezed

How to Make Oriental Dressing with a Kick

Step-by-Step

  1. PREP/PREPARE
  2. Gather your ingredients.
  3. Place all of the ingredients into a small mixing bowl.
  4. Chef’s Note: The hot sesame oil adds a bit of a kick to an otherwise plain dressing.
  5. Whisk until completely incorporated.
  6. Cover, and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before using. Enjoy.
  7. Chef’s Note: This dressing will last up to three days in the fridge, if tightly covered.
  8. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
