When we were newly weds, my husband went through a fried dough phase. He's always going through some "phase" in the kitchen. Anyway he made a recipe for savory beignets, I don't have his recipe posted, I'll have to get him to make them sometime so I can! This is the dip I make to go with his savory biegnets. They taste amazing together!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quality mayonnaise (i like dukes or helman's)
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup red pepper, very finely minced (i use an electric chopper)
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon cajun seasoning (saltiness can differ by brand)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1-2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh, chopped parsley

How To Make remoulade mayonnaise

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix very well.
  • Step 2
    Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve!
