When we were newly weds, my husband went through a fried dough phase. He's always going through some "phase" in the kitchen. Anyway he made a recipe for savory beignets, I don't have his recipe posted, I'll have to get him to make them sometime so I can! This is the dip I make to go with his savory biegnets. They taste amazing together!

Ingredients
- 1 cup quality mayonnaise (i like dukes or helman's)
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup red pepper, very finely minced (i use an electric chopper)
- 1/2-1 teaspoon cajun seasoning (saltiness can differ by brand)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1-2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh, chopped parsley
