How To Make mixed salad with avocado dressing
-
Step 1To make the dressing, puree the mayonnise, garlic, onion, lime juice, thyme, salt, pepper, bay leaf, avocado and water in a blender. With the motor running, add the oil in a thin stream until the fixture forms and emulsion, about 2 minutes. I put the dressing in a clean mason jar cap it and chill till ready to use...........at least an hour to let the flavors come out.
-
Step 2Arrange lettuce on a pretty festive platter. Top with the avocados and tomatoes. Drizzle with the dressing, garnish with the green onions and serve immediately. Keep leftover dressing in the mason jar and keep in fridge
