Back about 5 years ago, medicaide stopped paying for my duo-nebs that go into my nebulizer when my lungs are raspy and very hard for me to breathe so I made this little medicine that I and many of my family still use to this day.

How to Make Chest Congested

  1. Fill a pint jar with water and add in a tiny pinch of baking soda.Go to your health food store to buy the natural wintergreen oil.($10-$13)but this will last you for 5 years or more.(Use ONLY 1 drop)-into your pint jar mixture.
  2. Keep this in refrigerator and shake it up every time you use it. Pour what you need into your nebulizer cup and turn it on and do breathing treatment. This will not make you shaky like albuterol does and this is safe to use on all ages from baby to granny.
  3. ONLY keep this for 1 month in jar and then time to wash jar and remake a fresh batch.(So as not to get slimy). You also always want to check your oxygen machines or cpap machines(any that havw water tanks)on them so they do not get slimy or you will get this into your lungs.I clean my machines once a week.Enjoy being healthy!
