this was my cooking hating mothers pride and joy. The ingredients date it for sure. Late 50s - 60s. Don't know how long they made this stuff before mom finagled the recipe out of the Chef at Akron City Club .. It was a well loved signature dish there & don't know how she got this recipe. Don't let the ingredients make ya go ewww .It's a wonderful flavor explosion in your mouth. A touch of sweet n heat and a hidden creaminess. Capers were my addition. been having a cancer craving for this and had not had it in 35 years. Making it and thinking " will it be what I remember? " YUP. YUM.!!!

Mix mayonnaise . Chili sauce. Chutney. Worcestershire. Paprika . Cayenne pepper ( good dash if you don't like heat. My family likes heat so I use at least a heaping 1/2 teaspoon of. Ya need a little just one shake to give it that small punch in flavor. ).. Mix in shrimp If you like capers mix them in . I use about a heaping tablespoon ..Capers were not part of the original but I like the pop of saltiness it adds to the lite sweet heat.
