How to Make Baked Peppers with Macaroni and Sausage
- Cut away the tops of peppers and remove the seeds and fibers. Parboil for 5 minutes, drain, and cover with cold water.
- Saute sausage, crumbling as it cooks, pour off excess fat, mix with drained macarone and chili sauce.
- Drain peppers, and fill with the sausage mixture, place in a casserol dish and cover with grated cheese and chopped chives.
- Pour 1/2 cup of water around peppers abd bake in a medium oven ( 350 ) until well heated and as brown on top as you like them.
