georgina's mom's green chile casserole

Ingredients
- 1 package corn tortillas (more if you want more)
- 1 large can cream of chicken soup
- 2 pounds cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken, cooked and shredded
- 4 cans green chile (i used whole and cut into slices)...use fresh if you can
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon tony chachere's seasoning or cholula or tabasco or both
How To Make georgina's mom's green chile casserole

Step 1Get the ingredients together.

Step 2Oil the bottom and sides of a 9x11 glass dish. Place a layer of yellow corn tortillas on the bottom of the dish.

Step 3Mix the seasonings with the cream of chicken soup

Step 4Top the tortillas with some of the seasoned cream of chicken soup.

Step 5Top with some of the shredded chicken.

Step 6Top with a little diced onion, chile, then cheese and another layer of corn tortillas. Repeat these layers ending with cheese.

Step 7Cover and bake at 375F for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
