This is an original Michigan recipe. I found it in a Northern Michigan hunters guide. It is the only Venison crock pot recipe I have ever seen.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb
    venison
  • 29 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato paste
  • 1
    onion sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda (no idea why)
  • 1
    green pepper, sliced
  • 2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1
    clove garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    been boulion
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Dolfi's Secret Slow Cooked Venison

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter and brown onions, peppers and venison and put into crock pot. Mix rest and add over top.
  2. Cook on high until it bubbles and put on low for 5-7 hours
  3. serve over rice
