Lasagna!!! Need I say more? Who doesn't love lasagna. With the oven ready lasagna sheets; this recipe is an all in one dish that is easy to make, delicious, nutritious and the whole family will love it, and love you for making it. And they don't have to know that it was easy to make.

Ingredients

  • MEAT SAUCE
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon onion flakes, dehydrated
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • CHEESE FILLING
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 package ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

How To Make lasagna

  • Step 1
    In a pot over medium heat add all the ingredients for the meat sauce except the pasta sauce and water. Cook and stir breaking up any lumps in the ground beef until it is all browned. Add the water and the pasta sauce reserving 1/3 cup, bring to the boil then reduce the heat and let it simmer while you get the cheese filling ready.
  • Step 2
    In a mixing bowl beat the eggs then add all the other ingredients and mix well
  • Step 3
    In a rectangular oven pan spread the reserved 1/3 cup pasta sauce, top with a layer of lasagna sheets.
  • Step 4
    Spread half the cheese filling topped with 1/3 the meat sauce then another layer of lasagna. Repeat these layers again. Add the last of the meat sauce on top, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese all over the top.
  • Step 5
    Spray a piece of aluminium foil with cooking spray and cover the pan tightly. Bake in a 325 degrees F oven for 1 hr.
