How To Make home made chicken soup

  • Step 1
So simple and tastey and comforting! I believe in the properties of Home made chicken soup as the cure for colds and flu!
  • Step 2
Bring water in a pot to a boil, Add chicken parts or whole ( not frozen) to the water. Add Vegetables and salt n pepper. Boil hard for about 10 minutes, then bring down to a simmer. if the water is cooking out feel free to add more. Keep it at about 4 quartz for nice golden quality of soup! When chicken seems cooked thru. Lift out and debone CARFULLY removing all the small bones and parts. Then shred it a bit and readd it back to the pot of soup. I also like to serve this with wide egg noodles cooked seperately in another pot.. then just add the noodles to your bowl as you are ready to eat it..! YUM and healthy Great for cold Chicago winters!
