I have been eating burgers this way for more than 50 years. Delicious! Try one...you'll want another! Directions are for one burger, Multiply all ingredients by the number of servings you need for your family.

Ingredients
- 4 - 5 ounces ground chuck
- 1 - hamburger bun
- 2 tablespoons yellow prepared mustard
- 2 tablespoons chow chow
- 1 slice sweet onion
How To Make dusty's "chow" burger

Step 1Roll meat into a ball; flatten into circle slightly larger than bun. It will shrink some when cooked.

Step 2Pan fry or otherwise cook patty. Do NOT press on meat patty while cooking; this presses flavor from your burger. Don't overcook.

Step 3Toast or grill bun if you like. Spread mustard on both sides of bun.

Step 4Place burger on bun, then onion, then the chow chow. Grab a napkin and have yourself a larpin' good time!
