My Grandma Delleplain was a real Southeren lady, she loved her Chicken and chicken livers was one of the things farm woman cooked often. This is another one of grandma's recipe.

    cleaned chicken livers
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1
    onion diced
  • 1/2 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Sautied Chicken Livers


  1. Wash the chicken livers in cold water , cut them into guarters , sprinkle with salt, pepper, flour.
  2. Sautie onions in shortening, add chicken livers and brown, and broth and simmer 2-4 minutes.
