Authentically Greek and oh so easy to make. Lamb or chicken marinated in lemon juice and Greek herb blend. Grilling adds to the flavour, though you could cook inside. A great cook out recipe!

Ingredients For betty's greek kebabs

  • 1 lb
    lamb or chicken, diced into chunks
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic (bottled is fine)
  • 1
    small onion, grated (you want the flesh and the juice)
  • 1/2 tsp
    sweet paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make betty's greek kebabs

  • 1
    Mix everything together in a ceramic or glass bowl. Marinate for 2 - 24 hours
  • 2
    Thread meat on to skewers (which have been soaked in water) and BBQ (or don't thread and just BBQ). Use a low flame so you don't burn the outside.

    Serve with Greek salad, tzatziki and flat bread.
