Oat Milk and oat cookies
When you make it you leave it out over night after you refrigerate the milk and stir before pouring each time
1 crolled oats (regular or quick cook)
6 ccold water
1 Tbspvanilla (optional
HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE - MAKES 1 1.2 TIMES AS MUCH AND DOESN'T USE SUGAR OR SALT
1 1/2 crolled oats
1 Tbspvanilla extract
1/2 tspalmond extract
1/4 choney from bee keepers in your area ( for allergy relief)
How to Make Oat Milk and oat cookies
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl and soak overnight covered with a cloth.
Use a blender to whip the milk out of the oats.
Strain the milk through a fine sieve, or cheesecloth, into a bowl.
Store in a clean glass jar in the fridge.
Will keep for several days.
You can still use the leftover pulp ot make oatmeal or throw it in your bread dough.

mix the honey and extracts together and add strained oat milk and stir until dissolved
- NOTE FOR LOW PULP
if you do not want the sediment which I just stir back into the milk you can strain through a coffee filter after your first straining.
