How To Make homemade buttermilk
-
Step 1Clean out an ice tray and pour buttermilk into it and freeze. When frozen just pop out cubes and store in a good freezer baggie.
-
Step 2Now that you have made your culture! You are ready to start.Cubes will keep in freezer 6 months.
-
Step 3Pour 3 cups of milk into a tupperware container and add 4 ice cubes of culture.Put cover on container and shake.
-
Step 4Let this sit out on counter for 3 days. Buttermilk acid will not let this spoil! So it's ok.When thick put in fridge to cool and drink.YUM YUM GOOD!
