Flavorful, easy to make and so refreshing, this is a great cold beverage to quench your thirst this summer!

Ingredients

  • 5 black tea sachets (substitute orange pekoe)
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 4-6 tablespoons granulated sugar, or to taste
  • 2 cups cold distilled water
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

How To Make lemon iced tea

  • Step 1
    In a large measuring cup, place tea bags and pour boiling water over; steep for 6 to 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Remove the sachets, squeezing out any liquid and discard them. Pour in a large pitcher and add sugar; stir until dissolved. Add cold distilled water and lemon juice, stir well. Cover and transfer to the fridge for 3 hours or until chilled. Yields 5 ½ cups
