This tea is a pleasant and wonderful hot drink and is most welcoming on a cool fall day. It is not syrupy sweet like most drinks but is tangy and spicy with a hint of almond. Serve this at your next get together instead of punch and watch the compliments fly ! Recipe courtesy of food.com and Leta.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can 6 (oz) of frozen o.j.
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 quarts water

How To Make hot orange and spice tea with almond

  • Step 1
    Directions: 1 Heat sugar and 2 cups water in a pan large enough to hold 3 quarts, until sugar is dissolved. 2 Add remaining ingredients and heat till hot. 3 Do not boil. 4 Serve warm. 5 Left over beverage can be cooled and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
