This is an old recipe but sometimes they are the best. My Mother use to make this and its really delicious.Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    dates, chopped
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1 c
    milk

How to Make Baked Date Pudding

Step-by-Step

  1. Dissolve brown sugar in boiling water. Pour into 13x9 pan. Then mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl. drop mixed ingredients by teaspoonfuls into brown sugar and water mixture in cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. serve warm with ice cream.
