Something that a neighbor shared with me years. Mrs. Cox was raised on a Farm in Tennessee and move to Missouri years ago. She has since went home to be with the Lord. Found her recipe card and decided to share.

Ingredients
- 1 cup lard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 5 tablespoons water
How To Make lard pie crust

Step 1Cut Lard into salt and flour with a pastry blender.

Step 2Combine white Vinegar, egg, and water, stir gently

Step 3Stir above into wet ingredients into the flour mixture, taking care not to toughen by over mixing.

Step 4Gently knead and roll mixture out on wax paper. Use rolling pin and dusting of flour, to avoid sticking.

Step 5Place pie crust into a 9" inch pie tin, prick the bottom crust with fork, so as to not have air pockets.

Step 6Bake in a slow oven at 325 degrees for 10 minutes yields one pie crust.
