Ingredients

  • 5 c
    fresh apples peeled and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar substitute (i used splenda)
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    apple pie spice
  • TOPPING:

  • 1/2 c
    rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp
    apple pie spice
  • 1/4 c
    sugar substitute (i used splenda)
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, softened

How to Make No Guilt Apple Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the apples, sugar substitute, lemon, apple pie spice. Transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.
  2. In medium bowl, add rolled oats, sugar substitute, apple pie spice, and butter. Mix together with fork until mixture resembles a coarse meal. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
  3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned. Serve with light whipped topping, if desired.
  4. 142 calories per 1/2 cup serving. Diabetic exchange values are 1 fat, 1/2 starch, 1 fruit
