How to Make Fresh Strawberry Roses

  1. Wash your strawberries and pat dry. Then, place a strawberry on a skewer. Start by making a small slice about half way up the side of the berry. Use the side of your knife to gently curl the tips of the "petals" down.
  2. Continue around the strawberry making four "petals" in the first row.
  3. Next, start a second row in the same way, creating new petals in between the petals of the first row. Gently curl tips down with side of your knife.
  4. For a rose bud shape, leave the point of the berry. For an open rose, continue making petals to the top of the berry. Simple and very pretty.
