How To Make fresh strawberry roses

  • Step 1
Wash your strawberries and pat dry. Then, place a strawberry on a skewer. Start by making a small slice about half way up the side of the berry. Use the side of your knife to gently curl the tips of the "petals" down.
  • Step 2
Continue around the strawberry making four "petals" in the first row.
  • Step 3
Next, start a second row in the same way, creating new petals in between the petals of the first row. Gently curl tips down with side of your knife.
  • Step 4
For a rose bud shape, leave the point of the berry. For an open rose, continue making petals to the top of the berry. Simple and very pretty.
