They are lighter in flavor than the average Chocolate chip cookie,but very tasty as well. Enjoy with a nice cup of coffee or tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter milk,or skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 - egg whites
  • 3/4 - cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnuts optional ( fat will be higher if using,but healthy fat)

How To Make low fat chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    heat oven to 375 degree's. Line a pan with parchment paper,or use cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl combine the flour,salt,and baking soda,and Set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl mix the sugar,brown sugar together. Add the softened butter and combine well. Stir in the milk and vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Add the the egg whites and mix with a electric mixer until smooth. Add the flour mixture a little at a time. Stir well with spoon.
  • Step 5
    Add the chocolate chips,and walnuts if desired. Combine well. Drop by Tablespoons on to sheet pan.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 375 degree's for 10 minutes,or until lightly browned. Remove to wire rack,and cool. Enjoy
