Betty's 2.5 pounds of Chocolate! Chunk Cookies
NOTE- As chocolate is features in this so heavily, it needs to be of good quality. No cooking chocolate please.

·500 butter , 1 pound
·1 1/4 cups sugar
·1 tin condensed milk
·4 tablespoons vanilla extract
·5 cups self raising flour
·1.2 kilos (2.5 pounds) chocolate, chopped into chunks
How to Make Betty's 2.5 pounds of Chocolate! Chunk Cookies
- In pre-heat oven to 160oC (320oF) and line trays with baking paper.
- In a LARGE bowl, beat the wet ingredients together until creamy and smooth.
- Fold in the flour and chocolate. Using a dessert spoon, place mounds on the prepared baking trays. They won't spread too much.
- Bake for 10 minutes, cool on trays and store once cold.
