Needs a large quantity of cookies? These are buttery and loaded with chocolate! Please use blocks of chocolate and chop rather than choc chips. I use a third white chocolate, a third milk and a third dark. This is an old and trusted recipe - enjoy!! NOTE- As chocolate is features in this so heavily, it needs to be of good quality. No cooking chocolate please. Recipe is care of a dear friend, who's a professional caterer.

Ingredients
- - 500 butter , 1 pound
- - 1 1/4 cups sugar
- - 1 tin condensed milk
- - 4 tablespoons vanilla extract
- - 5 cups self raising flour
- - 1.2 kilos (2.5 pounds) chocolate, chopped into chunks

Step 1In pre-heat oven to 160oC (320oF) and line trays with baking paper.

Step 2In a LARGE bowl, beat the wet ingredients together until creamy and smooth.

Step 3Fold in the flour and chocolate. Using a dessert spoon, place mounds on the prepared baking trays. They won't spread too much.

Step 4Bake for 10 minutes, cool on trays and store once cold.
