Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 - eggs
- 1 cup 7-up or any lemon-lime soda
- 2 teaspoons lemon or vanilla extract
How To Make 7-up pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour 12-Cup bundt pan.

Step 2Blend butter and sugar and beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time until blended. Alternately add flour with the 7-Up, ending with flour. Add the lemon or vanilla extract and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly.

Step 3Dust with 10X sugar if desired, serve and enjoy. This cake is wonderful served alone or with berries and whipped cream.
