Ingredients

butter, softened
3 c
all purpose flour
3 c
sugar
5
eggs
1 c
7-up or any lemon-lime soda
2 tsp
lemon or vanilla extract

How to Make 7-Up Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour 12-Cup bundt pan.
  • 2Blend butter and sugar and beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time until blended. Alternately add flour with the 7-Up, ending with flour. Add the lemon or vanilla extract and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly.
  • 3Dust with 10X sugar if desired, serve and enjoy.

    This cake is wonderful served alone or with berries and whipped cream.
