smoothie - maltese-style

In Malta, it's not unusual to start your day with some yogurt and fruit. Here is an easy smoothie combination. Note that the yogurt should be frozen ahead of time to give the smoothie a thicker consistency.

Ingredients

  • 2 - mangoes, ripe
  • 5 ounces vanilla yogurt, frozen
  • 7 ounces milk
  • 5 ounces apple juice
  • - mint - optional for garnish

How To Make smoothie - maltese-style

  • Step 1
    Peel your mangoes and cut off all the yummy fruit around the pit, then large dice it. *You can save a little to garnish your glass if you'd like.*
  • Step 2
    Put the mango, along with all of the other ingredients in a blender. Blend until it's a nice, drinkable consistency. You can garnish it with a reserved piece of mango and or a sprig of mint to make it look pretty!
