This kid-friendly, fun, and delicious recipe receives two thumbs up from the Registered Dietitian. I made it for the kid in me, and one day I hope to make it with my own kids.

How To Make robot yogurt and fruit waffle

    Place waffle in the toaster.
  • Step 2
Slice banana. Cut strawberries in half. Cut ends off fig and then cut into two slices.
  • Step 3
Spread yogurt on waffle with a small spatula or knife.
  • Step 4
If cooking with a child, have the child create his or her own robot waffle (e.g. place the figs as eyes with raisins in the center of each fig, walnuts as hair, blueberries as a mouth, grapes as arms, strawberries as feet, cereal as a nose, and bananas as the ground).
