rice cereal
My mom made Rice Cereal when I was a kid and it's a cereal I eat quite often. This is one of my favorite cereals and is a comfort food. My parents had 5 gallon buckets of staple food when I was young like rice and whole grain wheat. And my mom made good cereals from those grains. So, we ate natural food a lot. And my dad loves nuts. So here is my version of the recipe that I remember.

Ingredients
- 1 cup left over white rice anykind
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 4 - walnut halves chopped in pieces
- 1 teaspoon butter optional
- 1 teaspoon sugar or 1 pkg zero cal sweetener
- 2 dashes cinnamon
How To Make rice cereal

Step 1In a med sauce pan add Rice, Milk, Raisins, & Walnuts. Heat on low-med heat until hot.

Step 2Add sugar or sweetener, butter and cinnamon.
