Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons bacon fat
  • 1/2 small sweet onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 ounce salt
  • 1 teaspoon parisian shallot herb blend (the spice house)
  • 3 ounces broccoli florets, minced
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 ounces cheddar cheese, freshly shredded

How To Make broccoli & cheddar frittata

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325. Add bacon fat to 8” cast iron skillet set over medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Add onions to skillet, brown 2-3 minutes. Add garlic to onions and cook an additional 60 seconds. Add minced broccoli florets to skillet and cook 1 minute. Add salt & Parisian Shallot Herb Blend to onion garlic mixture. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3
    Break eggs in a clean bowl, whisk until frothy. Add heavy cream to eggs; whisk an additional 30 seconds.
  • Step 4
    Add seasoned onions & garlic, and cheddar cheese to egg mixture; mix well. Pour egg mixture into 8” cast iron skillet
  • Step 5
    Bake at 325 for 15-17 minutes or until eggs are set.
