This is another of my Grandmas's recipes. Home made bread was a must in the 40's, we lived on a farm and only went to town once a month.

Ingredients
- 1 - yeast, cake
- 1/2 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons shorteing
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup milk ( scalded )
- 2 - egg yolks
- 3 1/2 to 4 cups sifted flour
How To Make grandma delleplain yeast rolls

Step 1Soften yeast in lukewarm water,

Step 2Add shortening, sugar, and salt to milk. Cool milk to luckwarm and add yeast and beaten egg.

Step 3Stir in flour to make a soft dough, turn out onto a floured board and knead until smooth ( about 8-10 minutes )

Step 4Shape into rolls. Let stand until double in size bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes.
