Ingredients

1 c
milk, scalded
1/4 c
butter
1/3 c
honey
3 tsp
yeast
1/4 c
warm water
1 tsp
salt
5 c
flour
2 large
eggs

How to Make Honey Rolls

Step-by-Step

  • 1Stir the butter and honey into the hot scalded milk and stir until the butter melts, cool until only lukewarm.
  • 2Dissolve the yeast in the warm water and add to the cooled milk mixture along with the salt and 2 cups of the flour.
  • 3Blend in the eggs and the rest of the flour to make a soft dough.
  • 4Knead lightly until smooth.
  • 5Place in a buttered bowl, cover , and let rise until double.
  • 6Shape into rolls and place in a buttered 9x13 pan. Cover and let rise again.
  • 7Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or until tops are golden.
