How To Make logan bread
-
Step 1In a large bowl, mix together whole-wheat flour, white flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, stir together eggs, honey, molasses, applesauce, and vegetable oil. (If you like moister bread, add 1/4 cup more applesauce.)

Step 2Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, and stir until well blended. Mix in raisins and sunflower seeds. Divide batter evenly between two 9-inch square baking pans that have been greased.
-
Step 3Bake for 45 minutes in a preheated 350º oven or until top springs back when lightly pressed. Let bread cool in pans for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting into 20 squares per pan. Wrap pieces individually, and refrigerate or freeze.
