15 ozchick peas, drained but save juice

2 Tbsplemon juice

1 1/2 Tbsptahini
-
1 tspsea salt

1 dash(es)cayenne pepper

1 clovegarlic

1 tspoil
-
1 Tbspchopped fresh parsley
How to Make Simple Hummus
- In food processor put garlic and process until chopped fine. Add rest of ingredients including 2 - 3 tablespoons (or more if needed) of the chick pea liquid and process until smooth. Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables. Enjoy!
- This makes approximately 2 cups
- The original recipe calls for olive oil, but another oil can be substituted, or the oil can be eliminated completely. Dried parsley can be substituted for the fresh if necessary.
