The neighborhood girls are growing and hungry. To get them into a healthy habit without bankrupting us, I used this recipe. All it needs are goood chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 can garbanzos, with (1/2 the juice)
  • 1 clove large, of garlic
  • 1/4 cup tahini paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh(or 1/2 fresh lemon to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon pine nuts (roasted @350 x 10 min.)

How To Make hummus-easy/fast

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients in food processor and blend until very smooth.
  • Step 2
    Top with roasted pinenuts and/or fresh tomatoes, cut up finely.
  • Step 3
    Serve with fresh veggies or roasted chips. Pita or black bean chips are great with this.
