Ingredients
- 1 can chick peas
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 package tahini
- 2 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- - salt & pepper to taste
- - chopped cilantro or parsley for garnish
How To Make hummus

Step 1tahini is a sesame seed paste and is available in supermarkets, health food stores, and Middle Eastern & Asian specialty shops.

Step 2Combine all ingredients in an electric food processor or blender and process until smooth, adding a few drops of water if necessary. Drizzle olive oil on top and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley and serve with crackers or pita bread.

Step 3Serves about 6-8 people. If you have a large group double the recipe.
