Ingredients

1 can(s)chick peas

1/4 cfresh lemon juice

1/4 pkgtahini
-
2 - 3 clovegarlic, finely chopped
-
2 tspolive oil
-
1/2 tspground cumin
-
1/2 tspcoriander
-
·salt & pepper to taste
-
·chopped cilantro or parsley for garnish
How to Make HUMMUS
- tahini is a sesame seed paste and is available in supermarkets, health food stores, and Middle Eastern & Asian specialty shops.
- Combine all ingredients in an electric food processor or blender and process until smooth, adding a few drops of water if necessary. Drizzle olive oil on top and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley and serve with crackers or pita bread.
- Serves about 6-8 people. If you have a large group double the recipe.
