guacamole my way

We always get guacamole when we go to a Mexican restaurant. I decided to make guacamole at home. I found a number of recipes, studied them, and put together my own recipe. After tweaking it, this is what I came up with. My wife says this is absolutely the best guacamole she has ever eaten. Hope you like it too. We like to use this as a spread on sandwiches and hot dogs. Yum.

Ingredients
- 2 - firm ripe avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, leaves and stems
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- - kosher salt, to taste
- - tortilla chips, for dipping
How To Make guacamole my way

Step 1Coarsely mash the avocados in a medium bowl.

Step 2Lightly mix in the onion, cilantro, garlic, cumin, lime juice, and cayenne pepper.

Step 3Season the guacamole liberally with salt, to taste.
