- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 gallon water
How To Make dried apples

Step 1Preheat oven to 180 degrees F.

Step 2Combine salt and water in a container large enough to hold both water and apples.

Step 3Peel, core, and slice apples into rings about 1/8" thick.

Step 4Place apples in salt water solution for 15 minutes.

Step 5Spread apples in one layer on large baking sheets and place in the oven for about 3-4 hours or until dry, turning occasionally.
