Thanks so much Iris, you can also use flour, my mother always used flour in hers as well as raw eggs, but I chose to do corn starch with this recipe, and by blending the cornstarch in with the milk, it gave the corn a creamy texture. Dan just made a pig of himself with it. smile. But I am glad he loved it so much. Great hearing from you, some people may not like theirs thick or creamy, but I do so I tend to add some type of thickner like corn starch or flour, to make the broth just a tad bit creamier.
Mine did not look as creamy as yours, I think I should have still added the cornstarch, but since this is not the last time I will make your corn, I will add some with the heavy cream. Blessings to you and your family, have a beautiful day.
Iris you did a great job there on the corn, I am sure it was the perfect accompaniment to the fried fish. Thanks for sharing your picture. I went out yesterday and I bought some more corn with the idea that hopefully there will be left overs after dinner for tomorrow as left overs.
